Vancouver Fire Department recently took delivery of a Lance HDR Hazmat unit. The unit features a Lance-2000 chassis with 27” extended and 22” raised roof cab, equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 425hp engine, along with EMS compartments and a Command Desk in the cab. The unit also includes an electric portable winch receiver, Command Zone advanced electronics and control system, Zip Dee electric awning, rear and side hitch receivers, Poly Tool Box, assorted compartments, shelves, slide-out and tilt-down trays, assorted ladders, air bottle storage, Whelen Freedom lightbar, nine Kwik-Raze Magnafire lights, Will-Burt Night Scan Powerlite, Hannay electric cord reels and an Onan 35 kW PTO drive generator.
