Matt Larson
Matt joined Hughes Fire Equipment as a Service Tech in January of 2010. He came to us from Monaco Coach Corporation where he was working as a service mechanic for 12 years, specializing in heavy chassis repair, fabrication, and maintenance.
As a Service Tech he assists customers with all repairs and or modifications requested for an emergency vehicle. He also specializes in custom metal fabrication and welding repair.
Matt's formal training includes:
- Meritor/Wabco, Eaton, and Bendix ABS diagnostic and repair
- HVAC certified, trained in repair and install.
- Heavy duty chassis repair and maintenance
- 12v and 110v electrical installation and repair
- Multiplex diagnostic and repair
- Structural fabrication, welding and repair
- Engine maintenance and repair including, Cummins, Detroit, and Cat
- Magnum, Trace, Xantrax inverter factory trained in diagnostics, repair, and installation
